Maja Kuzmanović (née Jović) was born on September 29, 1977 in Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She graduated from the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, in 2004. The title of her graduation thesis was Synthesis of cathode material LiZnxMn2-xO4 for lithium batteries via the glycine-nitrate method. She completed her Master studies at the same Faculty in 2007 defending the thesis entitled Gel-combustion synthesis of Sb2Co. Maja Jović enrolled PhD studies at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry in 2008. In 2017, she defended her PhD thesisi entitled Morfological and electrochemical properties of LiFePO4 powders synthesized in presence of different carboxylic acids at the same faculty.

Oblasti interesovanja: materials for lithium batteries, fine particles, hydrothermal synthesis, structure and morphology.

Maja Kuzmanović has been employed at the Institute since 2008.
