The five-member running team of the Institute of Technical Sciences SASA, named SILNA, comprising Ilija Batas-Bjelić (captain), Nina Obradović, Nina Tomić, Smilja Marković and Darko Kosanović, participated in the traditional Belgrade Business Run on 24 September 2026. The team achieved solid individual results and finished 331st in the team rankings, with a combined time of 1:29:41, calculated from the three fastest individual times over the 5 km course.
By participating in this event, which brought together nearly 10,000 runners from Belgrade's business community, team SILNA helped raise the visibility of the Institute of Technical Sciences SASA, presenting it not only as a leader in research and innovation but also as an institution that values work–life balance. Recreational running and socialising with colleagues outside working hours contribute to fostering such a workplace culture.
