Nenad Filipović was born on November 25, 1984 in Niš, Serbia. He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Chemistry the Belgrade University in 2011 with theme Thermal stability and crystallization of amorphous alloys Fe89.8Ni1.5Si5.2B3C0.5. The same year he gained his master degree with thesis The Mechanism of the first crystallization degree for amorphous alloys Fe89.8Ni1.5Si5.2B3C0.5. He works at the Institute since November 2011. In 2018, he defended his PhD thesis entitled Synthesis and characterization of poly (epsilon-caprolactone) / selenium nanoparticles biocomposite at the Facutly of Phisical Chemistry, University of Belgrade.

He defended his PhD thesis in September 2018.

Fields of interest: polymeric biomaterials, poly (epsilon-caprolactone), controlled drug delivery, encapsulation of drugs in polymer matrix.
